Brian G. Becker

Attorney Brian G. Becker is the founder of Becker & Associates, P.A. in Boca Raton, Florida.

Following graduation from New York Law School, Mr. Becker worked in the General Counsel’s Office for the Latin America and Caribbean Headquarters of American Express in Miami Lakes, Florida. After leaving America Express, Mr. Becker worked for Montiel Davis & Fonte, P.A. in Miami, Florida and Ellis, Ged & Bodden, P.A., concentrating his legal practice on Immigration and Corporate matters.
In 2009, Mr. Becker founded Becker & Associates, P.A. where he and his staff dedicate their time to helping protect clients’ legal rights, even in the most challenging situations.

Mr. Becker oversees the Firm’s Immigration matters including non-immigrant visa petitions (for investors, professional and non-professional workers), employment-based applications for permanent residency for persons of extraordinary ability, multinational executives and managers, professionals with advanced degrees, investors and other workers. He also handles family-based applications for permanent residency, deportation, political asylum, and other bases of relief including waivers for fraud, criminal acts, 3 and 10 years bars and cancellation of removal.
Possessing a unique combination of education and experience in Immigration Law, Mr. Becker has won cases which his colleagues have considered “no-win” situations and has earned him a reputation as one of the best in the industry.

Brian G. Becker is a member of the Florida Bar and is licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Broward County and Southern Palm Beach County Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. He is fluent in Spanish, pens a weekly column on various Immigration topics for El Sentinel (the Spanish edition of The Sun Sentinel) and frequently writes articles for other publications. Mr. Becker also appears on radio and television programs to give his expert opinions and advice on various Immigration issues.

Murat Goksen

Murat Nurettin Goksen

Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Murat Nurettin Goksen joined Becker & Associates, P.A. in August 2016. Murat is in charge of employment-based, treaty investor/trader visas, and other types of visas. He also manages entrepreneurial visas as well as investor and employment-based petitions for permanent residence.

Murat is fluent in Turkish, Romanian and English and as an immigrant himself, provides outstanding customer service to our Clients with the utmost compassion.

Murat graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing. Murat brings his experience, education, compassion and thorough understanding of the immigration process to Becker & Associates, P.A.

Ioana C. Spirache

Born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, Ioana Ciulian-Spirache earned her Law Degree from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 1996. From 1996 to 1999, Ioana practiced law in Romania and hosted a radio show on the Romanian National Radio Station, providing free legal advice to listeners.

In September 2003, Ioana graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Behavioral Science. She is a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Ioana has over 5 years experience working as a Paralegal in the Immigration field. She is fluent in Romanian and English and has been working for Attorney Brian Becker since 2008. Ioana brings to Becker & Associates, P.A. her thorough knowledge of Immigration policies and procedures, her top-notch customer service skills, and her legal expertise and thorough understanding of the Immigration process.

Marvin L. Obando

Born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Marvin Obando joined Becker & Associates, P.A. in April 2010 as a Paralegal. Marvin is in charge of family-based cases and also prepares various waivers of inadmissibility. He works closely with our clients to ensure that all cases are prepared rapidly and with the utmost perfection before submitting to the Attorney for final review.

Marvin is fluent in Spanish and English and, an immigrant himself, provides outstanding customer service to our Clients with the utmost compassion.

Sindia Melendez

Born in New York but raised in West Palm Beach, FL, Sindia Melendez, whose parents are both from Puerto Rico is fluent in both Spanish and English. She joined Becker & Associates, P.A. in May 2012 as a receptionist but quickly worked her way up to Legal assistant. She is the friendly voice that clients encounter when they call our office and is the welcoming presence they first see when they walk in. She primarily assists the Attorney and the Paralegals in cases involving Legal Permanent Residency and Citizenship. She is very eager to accommodate our client and staff any way she can. Sindia’s commitment to client services and attention to detail makes her a vital component of the Firm’s everyday activities. She is inspired day after day to go above and beyond standard expectations.
